The LORD sent thunder and rain that day...

In the midst of the wheat harvest God sent the people an unforgettable message. His voice was the thunder and the rain was His presence. This was not a sign to encourage them but to warn them and expose their hearts before a God who loves them and desires to be their God. God sent a prophet to speak to His people and warn them of their decision. To show them that a king (man-leader) is not the answer. He is their answer. And He will always be their answer. How often we so easily forget who are real King is.The people wanted a man-king to protect their lives from their enemies and their wealth.

The last enemy mentioned by Samuel was Nahash a king of the ammonites. The ammonites were the descendants of Lot. They were not allowed to enter into the covenant relationship with God nor worship God in His temple. The ammonites enjoyed it when God's people were defeat and humiliated (Ezekiel's prophecy). The enemy here desired to destroy and plunder God's people and steal their wheat. This is one main reason the people cried out to Samuel for a man-king. God did not work that way. Instead if they did not rebel against Him then He operated in their midst in the fullness of His Kingdom's power. If they rebelled then The Kingdom of the World and its prince would dominate and destroy them. I believe that we may soon see our elder prophets rise up from among our midst who will declare to us "Stand and see this great thing which the LORD will do before your eyes." We soon may hear the thunder and feel the rain in the midst of our great buildings, projects, plans, and budgets. Thunder and rain in the midst of our assemblies will spoil our services and harvest.

NOT A THREAT BUT A WARNING:Let us not forget that rain will destroy the wheat harvest unless is brought into the storehouse and protected. If the wheat is dampened by the rain it will eventually mold and be ruined. If the wheat is ruined the people will starve along with their animals and families. This struck fear in the hearts of the people. This was the message God had for His people to understand that this is what their lives would be like if they turned away from Their God. He alone would protected them. He alone would provided for them. He alone could be their rightful King.

1 Samuel 12:12-25

12And when you saw that Nahash king of the Ammonites came against you, you said to me, ‘No, but a king shall reign over us,’ when the LORD your God was your king.
13 “Now therefore, here is the king whom you have chosen and whom you have desired. And take note, the LORD has set a king over you. 14 If you fear the LORD and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then both you and the king who reigns over you will continue following the LORD your God. 15 However, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you, as it was against your fathers.
16 “Now therefore, stand and see this great thing which the LORD will do before your eyes: 17 Is today not the wheat harvest? I will call to the LORD, and He will send thunder and rain, that you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking a king for yourselves.”
18 So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.
19 And all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins the evil of asking a king for ourselves.”
20 Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart. 21 And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. 22 For the LORD will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you His people. 23 Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. 24 Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. 25 But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”

To Prepare Us For That Which Is Promised To Come....

6/30  " I Am Looking For A Sacrifice"

"I am looking over My Holy Assembly all across the land. I will begin to call the ones I have marked out of the assembly by the Hand of My Holy Spirit. I will ask them to...

"Build Me an Altar." It will be constructed of His people whom God has chosen. They will be the uncut living stones that will be an Altar unto God.

"Offer Me a Sacrifice." They will be unto to God a sacrifice Holy and acceptable. And he will consume them. For they will offer themselves to God.

"Then they will call upon Me." They will call on the Name of the Lord and God will answer them from heaven.

Gather together in your upper rooms all across the land. Gather in the place where you received His body and His Blood. Wait on God for he will see your altar, your sacrifice, and hear your voice. And God will answer."

"When you assemble together and build the altar and offer God yourself as a sacrifice sanctified and wholy prepared for God. Then call upon His Name. God will see from heaven and God will hear from heaven and God will answer you from heaven.

"Before God will answer His people and pour out His Spirit as a hard rain upon the land His people must first decide and not waiver between two opinions and must choose who they will serve.

To Make Known That Which Is To Come...

A Series of Prophetic Utterances- I had an unusual few weeks starting on the 1st of June. I wouldn’t normally feel comfortable sending out such a communication to you in that I dread exposing myself as a complete fool before you whom I deeply respect and count as my peers, elders, fellow minister’s in the Lord Jesus, and close brothers.

GIVE US 'EYE'S SEE!" and GIVE US "HEARS TO HEAR!"

6/1 - "A Holy Visitation Is Coming"

Jesus is coming to His people. He will soon begin to appear (not in a physical body) but through and in the power of the Holy Spirit. He will come into the midst of His people where ever they gather in their sanctuaries throughout this land. Jesus is coming to us. It shall be "A Holy Visitation."

6/2 - "My Spirit Has Been Sent Out"

The Holy Spirit is currently moving to and fro over the face of this land. He has been given a mission to look for all those who are gathered together and meet in Jesus name. He must find all those who worship God and have received the Son. These are the one's who will receive a mark placed upon them by the Holy Spirit. It will be like the oil we use to apply to those we pray for. This mark will be for the coming of the Holy Visitation.

6/3 - "My Spirit is Sifting and Testing My People"

To those who are responding when the Spirit moves upon them. Those who are seeking His presence, those who have been waiting for Him, and those who know Him are beginning to be found and tested by the Holy Spirit to prove that they have been faithful and kept themselves pure. Those who welcome and receive the presence of His Spirit will be marked by His oil for the coming of "The Holy Visitation."

6/4 - "Be Prepared For My Kingdom Is Coming Upon You"

The Kingdom of God is going to be coming upon us after these things. It will manifest in us and through us. When Jesus appears in our midst, in our assemblies, The Kingdom of God will appear in power. Sickness, Disease, Cancer, Blindness, Crippled Bodies, demons and the devil will bow to God's power in our midst. People will marvel and be astonished. Those who marked by His oil will lift up the Son of God in the midst of the assembly. Then all people will know that the Son-Jesus the Christ is among them.

6/4 - "A Mustard Seed"

The Kingdom of God is in similarity to a mustard seed. If must ask God to place a mustard seed in our hands, to hold it and handle it in our heart and mind. When we receive the seed He has given to us we must believe by faith that that seed is going to accomplished that which God has purposed for it. Then God will release His power in that seed in our hand which we ask the Father for in Jesus name. The seed is from God. We must ask for a seed(s) from Him. What ever seed(s) is dropped in your hand is to be believed and then to be sown. A seed from the Kingdom of God is not natural but supernatural. It is not believed for producing natural things. The seed is not physical nor is it to be planted in the soil of the world to produce things of the world. The Kingdom of God is not eating nor drinking.

6/4 - "Begin To Equip My People For The Work They Will Do In My Kingdom"

His ministers need to begin to equip His people for the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Follow His steps recorded in the gospels, understand His methods, and learn His teachings. Jesus’ entire ministry was through the power/anointing of Holy Spirit. His words, His deeds, His teaching, and His glory.  Ministers begin to equip His people for the work of the Kingdom of God. Prepare them to know and understand How to minister in the Kingdom of God by His Spirit. No disciple is worthy of the Kingdom of God if they put their hand to the plow and then look back. He will send His Spirit to us. Then He will visit us. Then He will give us the seed. Then He will send us out.

6/8 "I Am Going To Send A Final Outpouring Of My Spirit Upon The Earth"

I am beginning to anticipate in my spirit that there is such an outpouring coming that once we are swept into it we will not stop moving in the Spirit until the END. Every nation, every tribe, and all peoples will receive this outpouring. We will not need to go get it. We will not need to go to someone to impart it. It will come upon us. It will be sent by God Himself. It will be poured out from God. Every upper room in the world will be overwhelmed by the outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord. Then His people will know it God and God alone who sends the rain upon the land.

6/8 "I Am Going To Lift Up My Son Upon Whole Earth"

The Son of God is about to be lifted up again upon this earth. And His fame will go out throughout the entire land. The Spirit will lift up The Son-Jesus Christ through His people on this earth. The Spirit of God will be poured out among God's people. And God's people will lift up and exalt the Son Jesus Christ in the midst of all the earth. And when the Son is lifted up by His people God will draw all people unto Him. And the earth will proclaim that God is with these people. A God will be glorified once again upon the earth.

6/8 "No More Will I Allow Man To Touch My Glory"

God will not share His glory with anyone or any man. Man has reached up and has touched His glory. In his own eyes he has given himself the glory. What God has done man has taken as his own glory. God will not contend with man forever. And will not allow man to share His glory.

6/9 "Trust That My Spirit Is Able"

Do you want to see people who have backslide come back to the Lord? Do you want to see hearts return to the Lord? Do you want to see the hard hearted respond to the Lord? Do you want to see souls turn repent and enter into the Kingdom of God? Do you want to want the Spirit to touch and refresh you once again? You will need to fully trust His Spirit. You will need to fully believe in the power of His Spirit. You will need to fully rely on the work of the Spirit. We will need to reckless abandon all we have been trusting in, all we have been believing in, and all that we have been relying on. These works will not be by our strength or might.

Graduating from the School of the Lion and the Bear

1 Samuel 17:36 (New King James Version)

36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.”

God uses the few to move the many...

Acts 17:1-6

1          Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.

2          Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

3          explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, "This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ."

4          And some of them were persuaded; and a great multitude of the devout Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Paul and Silas.

5          But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

6          But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, "These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.?

7          "Jason has harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king-- Jesus."

(NKJ)

I have always found this statement “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too…” to be absolutely astonishing. Without an army, without radical political propaganda or media, and without government power and position a few lowly men of no worth and value to anyone are considered to be such a threat to an entire city. In the very actions of this mob indicate for us that these people knew the danger and power that these few men had. In reality these men brought nothing but a message. How can a message which can be accepted or rejected by the hearer consider to be such a threat to a whole city? An entire world for that matter? Well these people recognized the power that is with these men. They understood that only one thing can do to stop their world from turning upside down was to destroy these men. It is in this description of the effect the born again spirit empowered believer has in this world. their are incredible things God people can do for others in this world through the power of the Holy Spirit. But their is also great anger wrath and rejection stored up against people who move, minister, and speak in the anointing and empowering of the Holy Spirit as well.  What I like about this passage is that it indicates a relatively few who caused the many to be moved. In this case many were moved to turned toward God in response to the apostles message of Christ death for our sins, His death and burial, and His resurrection (1 Cor 15). But anytime you move in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit you can be sure that you will meet with great resistance by the ungodly.

In the last year I have been called upon to fill pulpits in many of our churches in this area. An unbelievable honor for sure. To be considered by your fellow minister as someone they can trust with their precious fold is a responsibility I do NOT take lightly. Each assembling of the saints is unique and quite different just like each church in the book of Revelation was unique and different. And each meeting where the saints assemble is a supernatural event. through the Body the Lord Jesus Christ speaks and the Holy Spirit leads and ministers. And who else should we allow minister to us then Jesus. I recognize Jesus knows His own people so intimately that He knows just what to say and exactly how He would like to do. When I am called to come and fill I know that Jesus has plans and is preparing to meet with His people. I keep this in mind throughout the days leading up to the meeting. When enter the church I stay very sensitive to the spirit of His people. Are they open? Are they prepared to be moved by the Spirit? Are they ready to receive the word as spiritual seed? I leave no holds barred for Jesus. He can do whatever He so desires. What a supernatural impact Jesus Christ makes in the hearts and minds of His people when His people are ready, open, and sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit.

I encourage you today to not look at the number of people who are gathering together in your services. Many of the Assemblies I minister in are under 100. It is not the number Jesus is looking for to turn the world upside down. How many were commanded to go to Jerusalem and wait for the promise? We are not sure. I would guess that not everyone who heard Jesus command that day He ascended actually showed up to the upper room or Jerusalem even. Yet 120 faithful were their when the Spirit fell down on them. And it is these few that turned the world upside down. I am convinced that God uses the few to move the many. Angry mobs will always confront a spirit filled man or woman of God but so will the Hungry for Gods mobs as well. The number doesn't matter when God begins to move but those who are willing, obedient, and ready to move in the Spirit are in perfect position for a Holy Spirit empowerment. May you be found in the upper room of your faithful few who are gathered together seeking and waiting for the promise of the empowerment of the Holy Spirit once again to witness that Christ Jesus is Risen, is the Lord, and Savior of the soul.

May you be one of the few God uses to 'Turn The World Upside Down"
